WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
TSTC is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Corporate Communications Specialist to develop and execute internal and external communication initiatives that promote our brand, strengthen employee engagement, and enhance corporate reputation. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, HR, and external partners to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all channels.
This is a part-time, non-exempt, W-2 hourly position for approximately 40-45 hours per month.

What You'll Do
- WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and implement corporate communication strategies aligned with business goals.
- Draft, edit, and distribute internal communications including executive messages, newsletters, intranet content, and organizational announcements.
- Create external communications such as press releases, media statements, thought leadership articles, and corporate reports.
- Manage media relations and respond to press inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support crisis communication planning and execution.
- Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all communication platforms.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends; prepare reports and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with marketing and digital teams to manage website content and social media messaging.
- Assist with corporate events, leadership communications, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Maintain and update communication guidelines and templates.
Basic Qualifications
- High School degree and can demonstrate requisite knowledge
- 2-5 years of experience in communications or marketing
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritize tasks as needed
- Ability to identity, draft and distribute relevant content consistent with TSTC brand and messaging parameters.
- Ability to develop and implement ‘out of the box’ communication strategies
- Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Canva, and other design tools.
