PeopleCert is looking for Head – DevOps, who will be responsible for leading the global commercial growth of the DevOps portfolio. Through an in-depth understanding of the PeopleCert Group strategy, the successful candidate will define and execute the commercial roadmap, establish partnerships with corporates and training providers, and drive the adoption of PeopleCert’s DevOps certifications and solutions across international markets.

As Commercial Head – DevOps, your tasks will include the following:

  • Define and oversee the global commercial strategy for PeopleCert’s DevOps product line.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, training organizations, and professional associations to expand market presence.
  • Drive revenue growth by implementing a target-driven sales and partnership strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams to ensure alignment of go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent PeopleCert at DevOps-related industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote thought leadership.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust commercial strategies proactively.
  • Provide forecasts, reporting, and insights to senior leadership on performance and growth opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide a commercial team to achieve defined goals and objectives.
  • Ensures their work and presence is aligned with company’s core values — quality, innovation, passion, integrity, clarity, and velocity

What We Look For:

  • Post-graduate degree in IT, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Over 12–15 years’ experience in business development, commercial leadership, or strategic partnerships within IT consulting, technology, or certification sectors.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and certifications.
  • Proven record of successfully driving revenue growth and international market expansion.
  • Sound expertise in channel development, partnership strategy, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
  • Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills in working with senior executives and cross-functional teams across cultures.
  • Prior exposure in Education, Consulting, Examination/Certification, or Technology sectors will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL a plus).
  • Advanced computer literacy required; ECDL Advanced certification desirable. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent software will be considered an asset.

Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

·       If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

·       A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

·       Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

·       HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist     Check (CTC)

·       Financial background check

·       Employment reference check

If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK. In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
