Position SummaryThe Corporate Disputes and Investigations Advisory practice focuses on high-profile litigation and investigations. We assist companies, law firms, government agencies, and fiduciaries with complex litigation matters, including litigation support services, consulting, expert testimony, and investigations. Our experienced team combines forensic, accounting, financial, and investigative expertise to help clients resolve complex disputes and communicate findings effectively in both court and out-of-court settings.Qualifications

As a Commercial Disputes Advisory Director, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day execution of complex commercial litigation and disputes engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.

  • Lead engagement workstreams and supervise teams performing forensic accounting, financial analysis, investigations, and litigation support activities.

  • Partner with Senior Directors, Principals and Managing Directors to develop engagement strategies, execute work plans, and address complex client issues.

  • Conduct and oversee forensic analysis of financial records, tracing funds, identifying anomalies, and evaluating challenged transactions.

  • Apply financial, accounting, and analytical expertise to assess complex questions of fact and damages.

  • Conduct interviews and gather relevant evidence in support of investigations and litigation matters.

  • Prepare and review reports, schedules, demonstratives, and other client deliverables for senior leadership review.

  • Present findings and analyses to clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.

  • Support expert witness engagements through analysis, report preparation, and testimony preparation.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to client satisfaction and engagement growth.

  • Assist with proposal development, business development initiatives, and thought leadership activities.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required:

At least 8 years of relevant consulting, disputes, investigations, forensic accounting, or related professional experience, with demonstrated leadership in:

  • Managing complex engagement workstreams and client deliverables.

  • Developing project work plans, budgets, and execution strategies.

  • Leading teams and coordinating multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Solving complex business, financial, and investigative challenges.

  • Coaching and developing junior professionals.

  • Supporting client relationship management and business development efforts.

At least 5 years of experience in disputes and investigations, with expertise in:

  • Litigation support and investigative engagements.

  • Financial and forensic investigations.

  • Economic damages and financial analysis.

  • Expert witness support and report preparation.

  • Working with companies, law firms, government agencies, and fiduciaries.

  • Presenting findings to clients and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should also possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • MBA, CPA, CFE, CFF, CFA, JD, CIRA, or similar professional credential preferred.

  • Strong database, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel to client locations as needed (typically less than 20%).

  • Candidates may reside anywhere within the contiguous United States.

The estimated base salary for this job is $200,000 - $270,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
