The Role:

Account Executives at Marigold take a consultative, value-based approach to selling while they build revenue-generating relationships and focus on their assigned territory. Account Executives sell solutions to digital marketing leaders in various industries and have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the win, enjoy high earnings, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Penetrating the assigned territory, building and closing a strong pipeline of opportunities.

  • Establishing and maintaining a high sales call volume with Directors, Vice Presidents, and C level executives.

  • Successful team selling by hosting Marigold executive level sales resources with key decision makers.

  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual bookings targets.

  • Providing an accurate weekly forecast of opportunities.

  • Working collaboratively with Marigold’s client services organization to ensure successful implementation of customer solutions.

Ideal Qualifications: 

  • Ability to build and foster strategic relationships with key marketing decision makers and C-suite executives within accounts across multiple industries.

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales experience, with previous history working at a martech company.

  • Proficiency in tools like Salesforce CRM, 6sense, Outreach, and Google Docs.

  • Experienced using the MEDDPICC sales methodology.

  • Ability to prospect, penetrate complex accounts, close new logos with purchase cycles of varying lengths. 

  • Proficient in territory planning, account planning and putting a strategy together to maximize sales within their patch.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.

  • ‘Team seller’- ability to collaborate with cross functional departments.

  • Proficient in ‘Value Selling/Solutions Selling’ with a consultative selling approach.

California SB 1162 Pay Transparency Notice
In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that could be performed in California.
For California residents only, the base salary range for this role is $60,000 – $70,000 annually.  This role is also eligible for annual bonuses / commissions / other incentive compensation based on performance / sales targets / company result. For California residents, the expected range for this variable compensation is approximately $60,000 – $70,000.

This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for the position in California. Actual compensation will be offered within this range, based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as permitted by California law.
Similar positions located outside of California may be subject to different compensation structures.
