This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Role Description
The internship for the RaptorTECH (PTECH) Cybersecurity program is designed to give students an opportunity to work alongside professionals associated with cybersecurity. Students will be able to apply the concepts, skills, and tools that they’ve learned in their course work in a real-world setting.

In your role, you will work on a variety of projects across Comcast, supporting both engineering and business teams. You will have an opportunity to interact with a wide range of experts, not just in cybersecurity, but in many other business processes.

You will be working with the best and brightest minds in Comcast while we roll out the video delivery infrastructure that will power the next generation of television. Success in this role is characterized by a higher speed to market, with fewer customer-facing defects and outages. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Audit a system
Monitoring and Analysis
Phishing Mailbox Monitoring and Remediation
Threat Feed Monitoring and Updating
Vulnerability Scanning and Reporting
Log Analysis and Investigation
Password Resets and Lockout Management
Research and Development
Security Policy and Procedure Development:
Assisting with security assessments and audits.
Documenting security processes and procedures.
Maintaining security awareness materials.
Providing technical support to other departments.
Attending security meetings and training sessions.
Testing the security of systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities
Identify relevant workshop topics and secure resources.
Plan workshop content, schedule, and logistics.
Promote the workshop to target audiences and manage registrations.
Facilitate the workshop and ensure a positive learning experience
Research best practices and industry standards.
Draft clear and concise policies for various aspects of cybersecurity.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policy implementation and compliance.
Stay informed about current threats and vulnerabilities.
Create informative reports and presentations for internal audiences.
Recommend strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Find projects aligned with your interests and skill level.
Collaborate with other developers and contribute code.
Learn from experienced developers and improve your skills
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential customers, highlighting the value proposition of the company's offerings
Research and analyze the competition, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop competitive messaging.
Prepare accurate sales reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze data to improve sales performance.
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, research, and other tasks as needed
Respond to minor security events
Researching threats

Rising High School Senior (must have a high school graduation date in Spring 2026)
Participation in program interview process
Available to work 26 hours per week over the course of the summer program - June 2 through July 17, 2025.
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $18.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
