Job Summary
Responsible for promoting the use of industry and company technology standards and monitoring the industry for emerging technologies/technology practices for potential use within the Company. The Architect 3 designs and develops technical solutions in support of our business partners under supervision. They ensure a balance between tactical and strategic foresight when developing solutions, with a goal of the most efficient use of company resources. In these solutions, the Architect 3 must consider business problems "end-to-end": including people, process, technology, contractual and regulatory requirements, as well as business and technical requirements presented. They are expected to work both inside and outside of the enterprise, provide formal and informal guidance, education and awareness. They have in-depth experience, knowledge and skill in their focus discipline, and will be working primarily under the direction of leadership and senior architects.Job Description

As part of the Solutions Architecture team, the Architect 3 will help shape cloud solutions, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with internal customer teams to define product roadmaps, understand current and future needs, and deliver scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions.

Core Responsibilities
- Ensures programs are envisioned, designed, developed and can be implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs.
- Interfaces with internal and external partner teams to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs.
- Presents solutions to senior architects and leadership.
- Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule.
- Creates required artifacts and deliverables, such as high and low-level design documents, to memorialize solutions and provide inputs to downstream workstreams.
- Tracks and documents requirements for enterprise development projects and enhancements.
- Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects.
- Applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture.
- Assists in the development of the solution architecture practice to fully manage/support enterprise needs, services, systems and technology management.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- Participation in technology and platform governance

Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations and/or engineering within complex technical environments.
- Hands-on expertise with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS is also valuable.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principles.
- Operational or engineering experience with Kubernetes; familiarity with other orchestration tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Linux-based systems and environments.
- Demonstrated experience conducting cost analysis to inform architectural decisions and optimize infrastructure spend.
- Experience with virtual machine orchestration, particularly using OpenStack and VMware.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to guide stakeholders from perceived needs to actual solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across technical and business stakeholders.

This job can be performed in Denver Campus with a Pay Range of $101,091.36 - $151,637.03Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
