Dark Wolf is seeking a Cloud Services Architect to join our pack. In this role, you will assist in developing defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. The team is developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software tools and capabilities that can monitor, analyze, visualize, and report on the cyber status and activity of space ground systems and data links. Predominantly, Dark Wolf is supporting the integration, deployment of the out-of-band cybersecurity tool, Manticore, and the in-band, respond and protect defensive cybersecurity solution, Kraken. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO, and will be supported in a hybrid capacity. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the primary enterprise cloud service administrator, managing all cloud services and environments and encompassing best practices.
  • Provide consulting support for the extension of cloud services including new features, functions, baselines, and new cloud environments (e.g., MS Azure, AWS), when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain best practices, frameworks, and cloud-related documentation including various COMSEC capabilities (to include keying material transport, installation, and management of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI)) to enhance remote user service delivery.
  • Develop tools to assess cyber vulnerabilities and prioritize cyber investments. 
  • Protect against unauthorized intrusion, corruption, and destruction of the Space Force's networks. 
  • Evaluate the current architecture and make meaningful improvements to enable the mission to deliver a robust solution to be fielded.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
  • 8 years minimum of relevant experience
  • Previous experience with DevSecOps pipeline design 
  • Previous experience with Security First Architecture (IAM, encryption at rest and transit, network segmentation)
  • Previous experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • SAFe for Teams Certification 
  • AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.
  • US Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Cloud migration experience

This a role that will include hybrid on site duties. The estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
