Computing Platform includes a proprietary big data platform ODPS (MaxCompute/Hologres/DataWorks, etc.), open-source big data platforms (E-MapReduce/Real-time Compute for Apache Flink, etc.), and PAI, etc. It provides a comprehensive product system covering data collection, storage and analysis, development and governance. Meanwhile, Computing Platform is also equipped with a variety of computing capabilities including large-scale batch processing, real-time streaming processing. Job Description:
• Responsible for ensuring the stability of Big Data & PAI products in the US Region, including:
o Service delivery deployment
o Monitoring configuration & emergency incident response
o Change release
o Troubleshooting complex customer issues
• Manage cloud platform costs for Big Data & PAI products in the US Region:
o Resource budgeting and forecasting
o Server procurement coordination
o Service scaling operations (expansion/reduction)
o Service deployment and de-commissioning
• Support nighttime emergency response operations for Big Data & PAI products in China Region (GMT+8 business hours)
Responsibilities:
• Drive Customer Onboarding: Guide customers through the onboarding process for our behavior analytics platform — including data collection design, SDK and event validation, and dashboard setup.
• Be the Analytics Expert: Act as a strategic partner to customers, helping translate business goals into measurable data strategies across collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Enable Data-Driven Culture: Provide ongoing consultation to support customers' digital transformation and promote best practices for data-informed decision-making.
• Industry-Focused Guidance: Research and curate analytics best practices tailored to game genres, lifecycle stages (soft launch, LiveOps), and business models (IAP, IAA, hybrid).
• Deep-Dive Analytics: Apply descriptive and diagnostic analysis to uncover gameplay trends, monetization bottlenecks, and user segmentation opportunities.
• Customer Support & Training: Be responsive to product questions, troubleshooting requests, and on-site or remote training needs.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal knowledge bases covering analytical techniques, success stories, and game-specific metric frameworks.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with solid fundamentals. Expert-level Linux system administration skills.
• Proficient in open-source big data architectures. Experience with proprietary Big Data & PAI products preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in development/operations of large-scale distributed systems. Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities.
• Cloud-native technical competency with hands-on Kubernetes experience (architecture understanding, issue diagnosis, change releases).
• Strong scripting skills (Python/Shell) for automated troubleshooting, monitoring solutions, and operational automation.
• Excellent communication skills. Chinese language proficiency is a significant advantage
