Design, automate and operate secure, performant global SaaS cloud infrastructure. Consult with stakeholders, implement IaC and CI/CD, migrate environments, apply cloud governance, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning and security best practices.

In this role, you apply your technical skills and operational experience to evolve our secure, performant and resilient global SaaS cloud environment. This includes providing best practices on secure implementation, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-service integration, and more.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight, has an agile DevOps mindset, is a subject matter expert in building cloud products, and has a passion to learn.
You command broad knowledge on Cloud network administration and engineering topics, but relish the opportunity to dig in deep on new technologies.
You are comfortable with Infrastructure as Code(IaC) scripting, and always consider when you should automate a task
Note: Although this is a remote role, you are expected to work on Toronto / East Coast business hours, and be available for quarterly in-person meetings.
- Consulting with client stakeholders on strategies for deployment of new cloud technology implementations, monitoring and optimization of existing equipment
- Delivering end-to-end infrastructure management solutions in a cloud environment
- Improving infrastructure operations through better use of monitoring, configuration and scripting best practices
- Automating infrastructure migration to cloud environments
- Implementing cloud governance, build, deployment and monitoring standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance if needed
- Hands-on experience with commercial cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. Strong preference for credentialed expertise with Azure Cloud services
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/delivery with tools like Azure DevOps, Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
- At least 2 years of experience with virtualization, containerization and container orchestration, including kubernetes and docker.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-Based Processes: Monitoring, Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, Disaster Recovery, Configuration and Support
- 2+ years of experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction
- Experience with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
