The Opportunity
This will be a 12‑week (40 hours per week) internship starting on June 8th, 2026.
We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Intern who is excited about using AI as a core part of their engineering workflow.
In this role, you will work on real cloud infrastructure while leveraging AI tools to:
- accelerate building pipelines
- improve troubleshooting
- automate repetitive work
- enhance decision-making
This is not a traditional internship — we expect you to actively use AI to amplify your productivity and impact.
What You’ll Work On
- Assist in managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3)
- Support Kubernetes (EKS) workloads and deployments
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OpenTofu / CDK)
- Build small automation tools using AI assistance
- Improve monitoring and alerting (Datadog / CloudWatch)
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Participate in incident debugging using AI-assisted analysis
- Document systems using AI to improve clarity and speed
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
- Basic understanding of cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with Linux / command line
- Understanding of Git
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer
