The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support and manage cloud environments across AWS and hybrid infrastructures. In this role, you will help operate and improve large-scale cloud environments for multiple customers. You will participate in incident response, troubleshooting, infrastructure improvements, and automation initiatives while working with a wide range of cloud technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and support cloud environments across AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, ALB, RDS, VPC, VPNs, S3, and CloudFront.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application incidents across multiple customer environments.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting to maintain system reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on automation initiatives and Infrastructure as Code deployments.
  • Support containerized and cloud-native workloads.
  • Assist with performance optimization, cost optimization, and architecture improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Participate in operational processes including incident response and on-call rotations.

Is this role for you?

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of AWS architecture and services.
  • Experience designing and troubleshooting complex production environments.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience supporting databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Aurora RDS.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineer.
  • Fluent in spoken English.

Desirable:

  • AWS certifications.
  • Experience with containers (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure or multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience working in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments.
  • Experience with NinjaRMM endpoint management.
  • Experience with cloud governance platforms such as MontyCloud.
  • Experience with backup platforms such as Druva.
  • Familiarity with alerting platforms such as OpsGenie or PagerDuty.
  • Experience with Trend Micro security solutions.

Location:

  • Remote - Based in Denver, Colorado.
