Your role will encompass the entire application lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization, with a strong focus on API-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop scalable, high-performance full-stack applications using cloud-native technologies and best practices.

2. Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs that serve as the backbone for our cloud-based solutions.

3. Lead technical efforts across multiple projects, providing direction, mentoring, and expertise to ensure successful delivery of full-stack and API-centric solutions.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end, back-end, and API components seamlessly within cloud environments.

5. Optimize application and API performance, security, and cost-effectiveness through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementation of best practices.

6. Contribute to the development of cloud service offerings, identifying new opportunities to enrich our Cloud Services portfolio with full-stack and API-driven solutions.

7. Ensure application and API architecture comply with security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements across the entire stack.

8. Provide technical leadership in the implementation of DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines for full-stack applications and APIs in cloud environments.

9. Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to less experienced team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and growth across the full-stack and API development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

2. Proven experience (5+ years) in full-stack development, with a strong focus on cloud-based applications using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

3. Proficiency in front-end technologies (3+ years), including React, Vue.js, or Angular, and modern CSS frameworks.

4. Strong back-end development skills (3+ years) using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.

5. Extensive experience (3+ years) in API design, development, and management, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

6. Hands-on experience with API gateway solutions and microservices architectures in cloud environments.

7. Proficiency in using API development tools and frameworks (e.g., Swagger, OpenAPI, Postman) for design, documentation, and testing.

8. Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

9. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

10. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and their application in full-stack and API development.

11. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline software delivery for full-stack applications and APIs.

12. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

13. Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to guide team decision-making, manage projects, and mentor peers.

14. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Developer, Google Professional Cloud Developer, or Microsoft Azure Developer Associate).

2. Experience with GraphQL and modern API design patterns beyond REST.

3. Knowledge of progressive web applications (PWAs) and single-page application (SPA) architecture.

4. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues in API design.

5. Experience with performance optimization techniques for APIs, including caching strategies and rate limiting.

6. Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect for API security.

7. Familiarity with API versioning strategies and backward compatibility considerations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud-based full-stack and API development, creating innovative solutions that drive our business forward.
