Cloud Data Architect
The cloud data architect is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate telemetry in all public and private clouds is appropriate to meet cybersecurity use cases. This position will ensure that the appropriate data normalization, aggregation, and context is provided to meet cybersecurity detection, threat hunt, incident response, governance, and compliance functions.
The role requires knowledge about log collection and routing for AWS and Azure cloud environments, including data plane and control plane logs and ability to design data logging and routing architectures. Individuals must meet or exceed the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a cybersecurity operations or engineering role.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a cloud operations or engineering role where the individual was responsible for managing logging on at least one of the following commercial cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with managing security and compliance for cloud workloads.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for cloud storage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with capacity planning on one of the above commercial cloud platforms.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with SIEM, security analytics, and security detection solutions.
