Fully Remote | Base Pay + Performance Incentives | $55,000 - $70,000/yr

Do you find satisfaction in getting things across the finish line, especially when every detail matters? What if your love of structure, precision, and process could help people close on the biggest purchase they’ll ever make?

Neighbors Bank, a leading innovator in the mortgage industry, is looking for detail-driven individuals who excel in fast-paced, process-heavy environments. If you find joy in staying organized, beating deadlines, and ensuring every “i” is dotted and “t” crossed, this might just be your ideal role.

Our Closing Specialists play a key role in the final stretch of the home loan journey. They ensure every closing document is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time while helping borrowers cross the finish line with confidence.

To be considered, candidates must have at least 1-year experience working in mortgage operations, including working with disclosures and closing documentation. Familiarity with borrower pipelines, regulatory timelines, and internal communications is essential.

We’re a fully remote company with an award-winning culture, where your strengths are celebrated and your contributions matter.

What Makes This Role Exciting

Own the Finish Line: You’ll be the final checkpoint before closing – reviewing every detail, solving last-minute issues, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

Fast-Paced, Detail-Driven: You’ll thrive in a role that values speed and precision. Some days you may close a handful of loans. Other days, you’ll crank through twenty. You’ll love the rhythm.

Remote-First Culture & Flexibility: Join a remote team recognized as a Top Workplace in Financial Services. You’ll collaborate with Loan Officers, Loan Coordinators, and other teammates from where you do your best work – the comfort of your own home.

Compensation & Benefits: Total compensation typically falls between $55,000 and $65,000 annually (includes hourly pay and performance incentive bonuses), with top performers exceeding $70,000. Comprehensive benefits include health and dental coverage, wellness program, 401(k) match, PTO, paid holidays, monthly WFH reimbursement, and more.

Master the Craft: Closing is an art, and you’ll get the chance to master it. As you sharpen your skills, there’s potential to increase your earnings through quality, consistency, and volume.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and audit all loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Draft closing documents and assemble complete closing packages.
  • Work closely with team members and third parties to coordinate title work and ensure accurate Closing Disclosures (CDs).
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers, Loan Coordinators, and Underwriters to clear final conditions.
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues quickly to keep files on track and timelines intact.
  • Stay up to date on guidelines, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Hours for this role are fairly standard and you can expect to work Monday through Friday between 8a – 5p, most days.
Are You the One?

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, precision, and a team-first mindset. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have at least 1-year experience in a mortgage operations role (processing, disclosures, or similar).
  • Preferably have experience working with multiple loan products (FHA, Conventional, and/or USDA).
  • Are highly organized and love administrative work with clear expectations and deadlines.
  • Embrace repetition and understand that process is the path to success.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and over the phone.
  • Stay calm and focused when things get busy or timelines get tight.
  • Can manage your own time and stay productive in a fully remote environment.

This isn’t the role for you if:

  • You struggle with fine details or reviewing documents line by line.
  • You get overwhelmed when your workload fluctuates or timelines shift.
  • You’re uncomfortable with high expectations and cross-functional teamwork.
Where We’re Hiring

Neighbors Bank is actively hiring candidates who reside in only the following states: AL, AZ, AR, FL, GA (all counties except DeKalb and Fulton), ID, IN, IA, KS, MS, MO, MT, OK, SC, TX, UT, and VA.

Unfortunately we cannot consider any exceptions to this location requirement.
