About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We’re looking for a Clinical Risk Program Lead to strengthen Grow Therapy’s client safety infrastructure and support licensed providers navigating complex clinical scenarios. You’ll help advance our clinical risk consultation services, contribute to quality initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to embed safety best practices into tools and workflows. You’ll be part of a remote-friendly Clinical team reporting directly to the VP of Clinical Strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering 1:1 real-time and asynchronous clinical consultations to providers managing high-risk client situations.
  • Facilitating peer consultation groups to foster clinical confidence and shared learning around ethical practice and client safety.
  • Identifying and escalating risk trends from asynchronous channels and consultation requests to inform proactive safety interventions.
  • Partnering with Operations and Data teams to refine and operationalize a client safety dashboard that flags at-risk caseloads and guides outreach.
  • Translating lessons from adverse incidents into scalable tools, documentation standards, and provider-facing education to improve care quality across the platform.

The salary range for this position is $107,681 - $145,000 USD.

The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate's working location.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You hold an active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD) and bring at least 5 years of experience providing direct outpatient psychotherapy or clinical supervision.
  • You have a track record of supporting clinical risk management and client safety, including crisis response, safety planning, and documentation aligned with ethical and legal standards.
  • You’re energized by cross-functional collaboration and have partnered effectively with Operations, Support, or Legal teams to address clinical safety concerns or influence systems-level changes
  • You communicate clinical concepts clearly and precisely, especially in writing—whether drafting consult summaries, creating risk resources, or contributing to internal playbooks.
  • You bring experience from a fast-paced, ambiguous environment (such as a startup or telehealth platform) and enjoy designing workflows or tools from the ground up.

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
