In close partnership with principal investigators, dedicated medical professionals, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities, you will drive the evidence needed to optimize patient outcomes.

You will make an impact by:

  • Internal job title name is Senior Manager, Clinical Education. This is an individual contributor and does not involve case support
  • This Identify ongoing educational and project needs. Create and oversee the implementation of the identified projects and ongoing educational needs in partnership with key stakeholders. Act as a core team lead and provide consultation on various internal and/or field-related projects with cross-functional teams 
  • Provide clinical expertise on all aspects of product lines and/or clinical affairs site management and provide guidance and clinical insight to team members   
  • Develop content for marketing initiatives and training programs and/or provide clinical expertise on new product development 
  • Provide indirect leadership through guidance, coaching and development for team members
  • Manage training and provide hands-on coaching and mentorship in the field for all new hires
  • Investigate and analyze ongoing training needs and develop training plans and programs that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with leadership
  • Create and present customized technical content. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and employees on technical matters relating to EW products through conducting and/or coordinating various programs, seminars, and internal and external symposiums
  • Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective

What you will need (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience or related experience based on Edwards criteria
  • Proven experience in clinical research
  • Previous experience presenting to large audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Master's degree and 8 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience or related experience based on Edwards criteria
  • Previous cardiac ICU experience
  • Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery
  • Experience in delivering clinical training
  • Experience with instructional design
  • Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $178,000 to $240,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
