The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled CLIN Lead to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the successful delivery of a Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) within a large-scale Federal cybersecurity program.
  • Mange a technical workstream (e.g., SOC operations, IDAM, SIEM engineering, RMF compliance) in alignment with contractual obligations, schedules, and federal cybersecurity standards.
  • Utilize a strong mix of technical depth, leadership, and client engagement to ensure that deliverables meet mission goals and compliance requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate all technical and administrative activities for your assigned CLIN.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders for your CLIN’s scope.
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of contractual requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, compliance, operations) to ensure integrated cybersecurity outcomes.
  • Track performance against SLAs, KPIs, and milestones; proactively manage risks and issues.
  • Oversee task execution, staff assignments, and delivery schedules within the CLIN.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with federal frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and RMF.
  • Prepare and deliver CLIN-specific status reports, briefings, and documentation for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Support program-level planning and resource allocation across multiple CLINs when required.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and other CLIN leads to ensure alignment across workstreams.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Five plus years of experience in cybersecurity or IT program delivery in a federal government environment.
  • Two plus years of experience managing or leading a team in a federal contract setting.
  • Proven understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST 800-53, CDM, RMF).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with contract and performance management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence.

Favorable if you have:

  • PMP, CISSP, or CISM certification.
  • Prior experience as a task/CLIN lead on a federal cybersecurity program (e.g., DHS CDM, DoD RMF, VA TIC).
  • Familiarity with budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking of CLINs within a contract vehicle.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
