About Stride

Stride is a modern EMR and practice management platform built for outpatient therapy practices. We bring scheduling, documentation, billing, claims, payments, and patient communication into one system so clinics can spend less time on administrative work and more time with their patients. We are a small, fast-moving team, and every person here has a direct impact on how our clients experience the product.

Every role at Stride shares one requirement: genuine empathy and compassion for the end user. Our users are clinicians, front desk staff, and billers who are often stretched thin; how we treat them matters as much as what we build.

About the Role

The Client Solution Manager owns the technical setup behind every new client launch. While the Onboarding Manager runs the client-facing plan, you make sure everything under the hood actually works: the clearinghouse connection, phone and SMS lines, card processing, and the client's configuration in our admin tools.

This is a technical role, but it does not require coding. You do need to be genuinely comfortable working in admin interfaces and JSON configuration files, methodical about verifying your own work, and persistent when an integration misbehaves.

What You'll Do

  • Configure new client environments in our Django admin tools: practice settings, users, locations, fee schedules, and workflows.

  • Set up and validate clearinghouse connections, including payer enrollments and test claims.

  • Provision and configure Twilio phone numbers and SMS for each client.

  • Set up card processing and patient payment flows, and verify them end to end.

  • Build and maintain client configurations in JSON, and keep them accurate and documented.

  • Test every integration before go-live: send the test claim, run the test payment, send the test text; confirm it all works before the client ever touches it.

  • Troubleshoot integration issues with vendors (clearinghouse, payments, telephony) and drive them to resolution.

  • Partner with the Onboarding Manager so technical setup lands on schedule, and flag risks to timelines early.

  • Document setups, edge cases, and fixes so the next launch is smoother than the last.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in technical implementation, integration coordination, technical support, or solutions engineering (SaaS or healthcare preferred).

  • Comfortable reading and editing JSON files and working confidently in admin tools; no programming required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills; you enjoy isolating a failure, forming a hypothesis, and testing it until the root cause is found.

  • Exceptional attention to detail; a single wrong payer ID or webhook URL can break a launch, and you are the person who catches it.

  • Able to manage multiple client setups in parallel without letting anything fall through.

  • Clear written communication for documenting configurations and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to healthcare claims and clearinghouses (payer enrollments, EDI 837/835 files, ERAs).

  • Hands-on experience with Twilio or similar telephony/SMS platforms.

  • Experience with payment processing or merchant account onboarding.

  • Familiarity with Django admin or similar back-office configuration tools.

  • Experience reading API documentation and using tools like Postman.

Who You Are

  • Empathetic toward the end user; a clean technical setup is what makes a clinic's first week calm instead of chaotic, and you take that personally.

  • Attentive and thorough; you verify rather than assume, and you re-check the thing everyone else thinks is fine.

  • Persistent; vendor tickets, sandbox quirks, and cryptic error payloads do not wear you down.

  • A systems thinker who likes understanding how the pieces connect.
