Job Description:
A Capture Manager is a crucial role in business development, responsible for leading the efforts to win a specific business opportunity, typically a government contract, by developing and executing winning strategies and proposals. They act as a strategic leader, guiding the entire capture process from initial identification to final proposal submission.
- Manage Capture Team:Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including technical teams, solution architects, and teaming partners, to ensure a cohesive and effective capture effort.
- Conduct Market Research:Analyze the competitive landscape, understand customer needs, and identify key buying criteria.
- Develop and Deliver Proposals:Ensure proposals are well-written, compelling, and aligned with the customer's requirements and win themes.
- Manage Client Relationships:Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to build trust and secure a winning position.
- Track and Analyze Results:Monitor the progress of the capture process and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Sales Teams:Align capture efforts with the company's overall business development strategy and sales objectives.
- Lead Capture Efforts:Oversee all stages of the capture process, including strategy development, proposal preparation, and client engagement.
- Develop Winning Strategies:Formulate capture plans, identify win themes, and develop compelling value propositions to differentiate the company from competitors.
