As a Client Advisory & Operations Intern, you’ll support Broad Arrow Auctions’ Client Development, Marketing, and Client Liaison teams by helping power the data, insights, and operational preparation behind our global auctions. You will gain hands-on experience in auction operations, client and specialist relationship management, and data analysis while developing a strong understanding of how a leading automotive auction business operates from pre-sale planning through post-sale execution.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, operations, and client engagement in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
What you’ll do
Auction Operations & Preparation
- Support auctions by assisting with sale setup, timelines, and operational checklists
- Help prepare auction materials, internal reports, and client-facing documentation
- Assist with pre- and post-auction activities, including data validation and outcome tracking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with specialists, marketing, and client teams to ensure accurate and timely execution
Data Management & Analysis
- Assist with data cleaning, refinement, and organization across internal systems and tools
- Support analysis of client, specialist, and auction performance data to identify trends and insights
- Help maintain and improve data accuracy for client records, inventories, and relationship tracking
- Contribute to reporting and summaries used by Client Development, Marketing, and leadership teams
Client & Specialist Relationship Mapping
- Support relationship mapping between clients, consignors, buyers, and Broad Arrow specialists
- Assist with tracking client touchpoints, engagement history, and preferences
- Help identify opportunities to strengthen client engagement through organized data and insights
Marketing & Client Development Support
- Partner with Marketing and Client Development teams to support campaign execution and targeting
- Assist with list segmentation, and analysis to support targeted outreach initiatives
- Support the creation and optimization of website content, including listing titles and supporting text
- Support media credential coordination and contact data entry/maintenance
This might describe you
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and systems; analytical mindset a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curious about how auctions, client advisory services, or luxury automotive businesses operate
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Interest in collector cars, enthusiast culture, or luxury markets is a plus
Other things to note
- This is a summer internship role – July-August
- The position is based in Broad Arrow’s Los Angeles office.
- There may be opportunities to support live auction activity depending on timing and need
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
