* Senior Network Engineer
* with extensive experience in Cisco routing and switching technologies. This role is critical in supporting secure, high‑availability network operations for government and mission‑focused environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization, along with an active
* TS/SCI clearance
* Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise‑level network infrastructure with a focus on
* Cisco routers, switches, and related technologies
* Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and security.
* Implement network improvements, upgrades, and patches while minimizing operational disruptions.
* Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/Layer 3 issues across LAN, WAN, and datacenter environments.
* Develop and maintain detailed network documentation including diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
* Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant network environments.
* Support network engineering projects from planning through execution, including requirements analysis, design reviews, and testing.
* Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years
* of experience in network engineering or related technical roles.
* Expert knowledge of
* Cisco routing and switching
* (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS).
* Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and related network protocols.
* Experience with enterprise network monitoring and management tools.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in mission‑critical environments.
* Active
* TS/SCI clearance
* (required at time of hire).
* Preferred Qualifications
* Cisco certifications such as
* CCNP
* CCIE
* , or equivalent experience.
* Experience with firewalls, VPN technologies, and network security best practices.
* Background working in government, DoD, or Intel community environments.
* Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.) for network configuration and orchestration.
* Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GovCloud) is a plus.
