Partner to the CEO | Architect of Scale | Operator of Value Creation

RevolutionParts is entering its next phase of scale.

We’ve built a category-defining B2B SaaS and marketplace platform modernizing the automotive parts eCommerce ecosystem. With 2,750+ customers, multiple growth vectors, and a strong accounting foundation already in place, we are now focused on scaling with discipline - preparing the business for PE-level scrutiny, M&A execution, and eventual IPO-grade readiness.

To support this next chapter of growth with ambitions to reach $100M+ in ARR , we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer who has done this journey before and knows how to professionalize finance without slowing growth.

This is not a transactional CFO role. This is a builder-operator CFO role for a finance leader who has guided companies through the Series A → B → C journey (or equivalent revenue and complexity scale) and understands how to turn data into operating leverage, partner deeply with GTM leaders to drive efficient growth, manage cash, risk, and capital allocation through scale, and build credibility with boards, investors, and future capital partners while preparing the business for future M&A and liquidity events.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a core architect of our operating model, financial strategy, and long-term value creation.

The Mission
Build a finance organization and operating cadence that enables faster, smarter decisions, supports scale, and maximizes enterprise value.

You will own the full financial function—strategy and execution—while serving as a trusted partner to the CEO, executive team, and board.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

Executive Partnership & Strategic Finance
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on growth strategy, capital allocation, pricing, and long-term planning.
  • Translate business strategy into financial plans, tradeoffs, and execution priorities.
  • Support board-level reporting, investor communications, and diligence.

Accounting, Controls, & Financial Rigor (Foundation in-place)
  • Oversee a strong, established accounting team responsible for close, controls, and compliance.
  • Ensure audit readiness and progressively elevate reporting rigor toward IPO-level standards.
  • Own accounting policy decisions, revenue recognition, and internal controls as scale increases.
  • Maintain financial integrity without introducing unnecessary friction or bureaucracy.

Cash, Liquidity, & Risk Management
  • Own cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital strategy.
  • Actively manage financial risk across growth initiatives, marketplace dynamics, and M&A.
  • Ensure disciplined capital deployment aligned with return thresholds and growth priorities.
  • Establish clear governance around spend, investment decisions, and downside scenarios.

FP&A, Metrics, & Operating Insight
  • Build best-in-class FP&A, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities.
  • Establish SaaS and marketplace metrics that executives rely on to run the business.
  • Provide decision-oriented insights—not just reports—across Product, Operations, and GTM.
  • Deeply understand unit economics and continuously drive improvement in growth efficiency.

GTM Partnership & Revenue Strategy
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Product on:
    • Pricing and packaging decisions
    • GTM investment tradeoffs
    • Sales efficiency and funnel economics
  • Help scale revenue predictability while improving CAC, payback, and margin performance.
  • Serve as a strategic counterbalance—accelerating smart growth while protecting economics.

Fundraising, PE Readiness, & M&A
  • Lead fundraising efforts and investor relationships as the company scales.
  • Prepare the business for PE-level diligence, including data rooms, reporting cadence, and narrative.
  • Evaluate, structure, and execute M&A opportunities—from diligence through integration.
  • Ensure post-acquisition integration supports both financial rigor and growth momentum.

Unit Economics & Value Creation
  • Deeply understand and continuously improve unit economics across SaaS and marketplace motions.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to optimize margins, pricing, and growth efficiency.
  • Establish KPI frameworks that connect financial outcomes to execution at every level.

What Success Looks Like
  • Predictable forecasting and strong financial credibility with the board and investors
  • Finance viewed as a strategic enabler and a partner to the rest of the leadership team - not a score or gate keeper
  • You have clear visibility into unit economics and growth tradeoffs
  • A scalable finance organization that stays ahead of growth
  • Successful execution of fundraising and/or M&A initiatives

Who This Role Is For
You are likely a fit if you have:
  • Served as CFO or VP, Finance or Controller with a minimum of 3 years in the role
  • Experience with Series A → C or $30M → $100M+ ARR scale
  • Deep experience in B2B SaaS; marketplace experience is a strong plus
  • Led fundraising processes and worked closely with boards and investors
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and executing M&A transactions
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence peers with data and judgment
  • A builder mindset: comfortable rolling up your sleeves while setting long-term direction

Bonus (not required):
  • Experience in multi-product or multi-sided marketplace businesses
  • Prior PE-backed or pre-IPO experience
  • Experience scaling finance in companies with 300+ employees

Why This Role Is Compelling
  • Direct partnership with a founder-CEO at a true scale inflection point
  • Real ownership of financial strategy, capital decisions, and M&A
  • A complex, high-impact business model spanning SaaS + Marketplace
  • The opportunity to help shape a category-defining company

If you’ve been through the Series A → C journey and are ready to do it again—with more leverage, complexity, and upside—we’d love to talk.
