Chief Architect/Lead Systems Engineer – Missile Warning/Missile Track program, Leidos National Security Sector

Leidos has an exciting opportunity in the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense mission areas.
This position involves leading a high-performing team in systems engineering, model-based systems engineering (CAMEO), software development, trade studies, product testing, and operational deployments. We are committed to finding the best people, processes, and tools to develop advanced solutions in data integration, fusion, analytics, visualization, and decision support systems.
What You’ll Do:
Lead a top-tier team of Systems and Software Engineers, overseeing Configuration & Change Processes, Scheduling, Training, Requirements, Testing, Data Management, and Architecture.
Drive integration activities across configuration/change management, baseline updates, testing, system integration, and deployment of delivered artifacts.
Provide updated engineering drawings to the Government and Sustainment Activities Provider.
Collaborate with development, test, and deployment teams on documentation and design diagram updates.
Coordinate scheduled activities with Government, third-party contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute degree requirement).
U.S. Citizenship; currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Strong expertise in systems modeling, Digital Engineering, and MBSE.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate within engineering teams.
Experience managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Proven ability to translate complex technical discussions into executable plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree with 10+ years of experience.
Experience developing Software Architectures.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical details effectively in writing and speech.
Background in Command & Control Battle Management (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), and other missile defense programs.

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
