Role Summary

Sophos is seeking a Channel Marketing Specialist to join our North America channel marketing team. At Sophos, we put partners at the center of how we go to market, and this role plays an important part in supporting programs that help our reseller partners, MSPs, and MSSPs drive growth while protecting customers from today’s evolving cyber threats.

This is an execution-focused, hands-on role that supports channel marketing initiatives across the U.S. and Canada. You’ll work closely with Channel Marketing Managers, Channel Sales, Field Marketing, and cross-functional teams to coordinate webinars, partner communications, events, and demand generation programs that drive engagement and pipeline.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. Success in this position looks like well-executed programs, seamless coordination, strong internal collaboration, and measurable support of partner-driven pipeline initiatives.

Sophos offers a supportive, growth-oriented culture with a strong commitment to learning, collaboration, and internal career development—making this a strong opportunity to build foundational channel marketing expertise in cybersecurity.

This role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing, North America.

What You Will Do

  • Support execution of North America channel marketing programs including webinars, partner campaigns, virtual events, in-person events, and enablement initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for partner-facing webinars and events, including scheduling, speaker coordination, promotional communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Draft and distribute partner communications such as email campaigns, event invitations, program updates, and enablement announcements.
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing Managers and Channel Sales to support joint marketing initiatives with partners.
  • Assist with MDF and budget tracking, documentation, and performance reporting to ensure accurate measurement and compliance.
  • Maintain project plans and timelines using tools such as Asana or similar platforms to ensure smooth execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement, and pipeline contribution.
  • Use AI-powered tools and automation to streamline communications, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional coordination with product marketing, field marketing, sales development, and corporate marketing to ensure alignment and consistency across partner programs.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, partner engagement tactics, and execution efficiency.
  • Expected travel: up to 10–15%

What You Will Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, channel marketing, field marketing, event marketing, or related areas.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, webinars, or events from planning through execution.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, professional partner-facing communications.
  • Comfort working with marketing and CRM tools such as Salesforce, PowerBI, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and support reporting.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with sales and marketing stakeholders.
  • Interest in cybersecurity and eagerness to grow within a partner-first go-to-market model.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
