We are looking for a skilled marketing professional ready for the next step in their career to fill our Channel Marketing Manager position. We need someone who has experience of working in a complex IT or a technology organization in a channel marketing role. This is a remote / home office position.
This role in channel marketing has the responsibility for supporting the ‘to and through channel’ efforts across Jabra’s channel business with our key channel partners, which can include DMR/NSP, strategically named partners and even digitally managed.
Success will be measured by the following:
- Increased levels of partner engagement
- Increased numbers of trading partner accounts and revenue
- ROI of channel programs
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel marketing plans including channel communications, events, online and offline marketing
- Own the marketing relationship for key target partners (including Managed DMR/NSP and strategic reseller partners) and develop ‘to and through partner’ marketing plans to drive Jabra marketing & sales priorities
- Launch products to the partner community
- Manage MDF fund planning and activation for the partners
- Manage channel communications framework including email & partner sites
- Execution of limited end customer activities as required e.g. events
- Report on channel marketing activities and performance against agreed metrics
- Execute on key strategic alliance initiatives within global plan
- Work cross-functionally in the sales region, specifically between sales and marketing teams, to gain alignment and knowledge of the customer interaction and sales process.
- Generate working knowledge of reseller channel environment to implement tactical sales and marketing materials appropriate for each channel segment
- Research competitive channel programs and develop initiative directed at switching brand loyalty and mindshare to Jabra
- Plan, communicate with sales and oversee the execution of channel specific product promotions and sell through campaigns.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- 4+ years’ experience of working in B2B channel marketing or channel sales
- Marketing experience in the B2B tech sector with proven experience of channel marketing.
- Proven experience in planning and implementing channel programs
- Experience in the Technology/IT/Telecoms market
- Experience of working in a regional marketing organization performing a local or regional role
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to budget
- Experience managing MDF or similar funding programs
- Excellent written and verbal communicator with the ability to work and negotiate within a matrix organization
- Experience with marketing IT systems such as CRM & marketing automation tools
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Customer centric approach to marketing with a strong knowledge of the sales process and understanding of current trends in the marketplace
- Strong sense of personal drive and initiative with the ability to define project scope and maintain momentum until completion
- Strong ability to analyze ROI on marketing spend and promotions
Travel: Up to 10 % (may include abroad).
Pay Transparency Notice:
The target annual compensation for this position can range from $82,000.00 - $123,000.00, inclusive of a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of the fiscal year-end.
Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
