Overview

As part of our Business Systems and Salesforce Rotational Program, you will be embedded inside our IT organization, working directly with our Lead Business Analyst, Lead Technical Architect and a wider team of experienced professionals who will mentor the successful candidate. This well-rounded role is permeable to the student’s desired career paths and gives the successful candidate a taste of both the technical and non-technical aspects of software development. The successful candidate will have a Computer Science or Business Administration background.

Over the period of your internship, you will learn everything our department does, from the intricacies of business analysis to the ins and out of managing projects in a Salesforce.com environment.

The position reports to the Senior Director, COC/COI Systems and will play an active role in day to day project delivery, contributing to both ongoing platform operations and strategic initiatives within the Salesforce Competency Center.

Responsibilities:

You’ll rotate through three of the five areas listed below. Each rotation is designed to build on the last, giving you a meaningful connected experience across the IT lifecycle. 

  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with departmental stakeholders to gather, document and validate functional requirements and translate complex business needs into actionable User Stories. 
  • Platform Administration: Support Day to day administration of the Salesforce environment, including custom object configuration, data integrity maintenance and automated workflow development using Flow builder.   
  • Technical Development: Support the engineering team in the design and testing of programmatic Salesforce solutions including Apex Triggers and Lightning Web Components to extend platform functionality. 
  • Project Lifecycle & Release Management: Learn all about Salesforce projects and the lifecycle of a project with a special focus on getting projects ready for Go-Live. 
  • Testing Strategy and Robotic Automation Testing: Support the development and execution of test strategies across UAT and integration phases, with hands on exposure to robotic automation testing tools and strategies.

Education 

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration of a related discipline and has a demonstrated interest in enterprise technology and business systems.
