Position Overview

As the Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce Specialist) at Eon, you will own the architecture and backend setup of Salesforce and our GTM tech stack applications, enabling our teams to scale efficiently. You’ll drive system improvements, manage integrations with key GTM tools, and partner cross-functionally to turn business needs into robust, technical solutions.

You’ll champion a data-driven culture by building tools, reports, and workflows that empower Sales, Marketing, CS, and Revenue Operations to make informed, strategic decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems and business requirements and is looking to grow into a broader RevOps role in the future, with full ownership of our GTM application stack.

Key Responsbilities

As the Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce Specialist) at Eon, you will own the architecture and backend setup of Salesforce and our GTM tech stack applications, enabling our teams to scale efficiently. You’ll drive system improvements, manage integrations with key GTM tools, and partner cross-functionally to turn business needs into robust, technical solutions.

You’ll champion a data-driven culture by building tools, reports, and workflows that empower Sales, Marketing, CS, and Revenue Operations to make informed, strategic decisions. Salesforce Administration & Ownership

  • Own and manage all backend Salesforce configurations: custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, automations, user roles, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Maintain data cleanliness and governance across Salesforce objects.
  • Troubleshoot user-reported issues and perform regular system audits.Analyze existing business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement

 

Third-Party Integrations

  • Administer integrations between Salesforce and core GTM tools including ZoomInfo, Slack, HubSpot, outreach platforms, dialers, and other sales enablement software.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure API-based and middleware-based integrations are stable and effective.
Workflow Automation & Enablement

  • Design and implement scalable workflow automations to streamline sales and marketing processes.
  • Enable operational efficiencies by reducing manual effort and improving lead-to-opportunity conversions.

Salesforce Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support Sales, Marketing, and RevOps (hands on experience is a must).
  • Provide ongoing insights from Salesforce data to drive pipeline health, performance metrics, and GTM decision-making.

Collaboration & Enablement 

  • Act as the internal Salesforce subject matter expert for GTM teams.
  • Train and support users on best practices and process updates.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure systems align with GTM workflows.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years as a Business Systems Analyst / Salesforce Admin or in a similar role, ideally within a B2B SaaS company supporting a GTM team of 10+ people, with a focus on Salesforce
  • Proven track record implementing and  managing Salesforce at scale across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions.

Certifications

  •  Salesforce Certified Administrator (must-have)
  •  Salesforce Advanced Administrator (plus)
  •  Platform App Builder (plus)

Technical Proficiency

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce setup and automation (Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with popular GTM tools such as ZoomInfo, Slack, HubSpot, dialers, and sales engagement tools.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce reporting and data model (campaigns, leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities).Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, along with the ability to implement and leverage AI tools or agents, is a strong advantage

Analytical Capability

  • Ability to analyze sales performance trends and generate actionable insights using Salesforce data.
  • Strong data hygiene discipline with experience running audits and improving field structures.
