Technical Business Systems Analyst, FinTech

We’re looking for a Technical Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic FinTech team at HubSpot. In this role, you’ll combine analytical thinking with hands-on technical implementation to build scalable, automated solutions that empower our Accounting and Finance partners.

You'll take ownership of end-to-end projects—from identifying opportunities and gathering requirements to implementing integrations and streamlining operations across our SaaS ecosystem. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support HubSpot’s financial reporting, compliance, and capital expenditure processes at scale.

As a key member of the FinTech Reporting COE, you'll:

• Drive critical automation and systems enhancements that impact our global finance operations

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions

• Lead projects from ideation to execution using a blend of business analysis, product mindset, and technical skills

• Influence how our financial systems evolve and scale alongside HubSpot's growth

• Translate finance team goals into technical solutions across SaaS platforms

• Own and manage projects related to financial reporting, capital expenditures, and compliance workflows

• Design and build integrations between SaaS apps using flow-based tools like Workato or Zapier

• Partner with Finance, GRC, and Engineering teams to define success metrics and system architecture

• Configure SaaS applications and implement in-app functionality based on evolving business needs

• Provide system support during month-end close and ensure high availability of key finance platforms

• Lead vendor relationships and ensure our tools and systems align with long-term business objectives

• Use data to inform decisions and measure outcomes across system enhancements and upgrades

We’re seeking someone who is both analytically sharp and technically confident:

Must-Have Skills:

• 2–4 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in FinTech or SaaS

• Deep understanding of financial operations and processes (e.g., Capital Expenditures, Reporting, Compliance)

• Experience configuring and managing SaaS platforms and finance tools

• Strong systems analysis skills across a range of technologies

• Experience with automation/integration tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier)

• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or scripting languages (JavaScript, HTML) is a plus

Soft Skills:

• Clear communicator with strong documentation and stakeholder management skills

• Able to balance technical depth with big-picture thinking

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems
