As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365). You’ll analyze business needs, manage ERP enhancements, and drive process improvements across supply chain operations.

This is a hands-on role requiring both technical acumen and strong interpersonal skills to support cross-functional teams and ensure successful system implementations.

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, this role can work remotely in the USA OR hybrid in our Glen Allen, VA headquarters. We are not providing visa sponsorship or immigration support now or in the future for this role.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to gather and document requirements for ERP enhancements and process improvements.  Partner to uncover pain points and turn them into smart, scalable solutions.

• Be the go-to expert on Microsoft D365.  Lead D365 change management from discovery to testing to rollout: ticket creation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Develop and deliver effective training that makes adoption easy for users across the business for D365 features, including security governance and role-based access.

• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency through technology and process redesign.  Document standard work processes to ensure long-term success.

• Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of solutions. Work cross-functionally to support enhancements, system integrations, and governance.

• Manage small-scale projects and enhancements, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.

✅ What you bring

• ERP Experience: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Business Analysis & Testing: Confident in business requirements gathering, business process mapping, system testing, and troubleshooting.  Experience creating detailed business and functional requirements, defining user capabilities, process flows, functional specs, and data/analytics needs to ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate across departments and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  You are an excellent communicator—whether you’re in a room with leadership or coaching end users.

• Supply Chain Knowledge: Functional understanding of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain.  Understand the broader supply chain processes and how they interconnect within the D365 system.

• Project Management: Passion for change management, continuous improvement, and enabling others to succeed. Understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT change control practices.

🎯 Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ Years Business Requirements gathering experience

• 3+ years of experience in testing, business process mapping, and supporting business functions in Microsoft D365.
