I. Job Summary
The Manager will be responsible for the development of programs that increase business optimization and increasing organizational capability across Fleet, logistics and collections departments
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Responsible for overseeing the development of programs that support strategic objectives.
  • Develops an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinates and integrates multiple enterprise solutions projects with a large scope and complexity in an environment for business change.
  • Develops an understanding of the day-to-day operations of logistics or collections department and provides daily support to managers in ensuring process, quality and budget performance.
  • Works with senior management, various board and steering committees, functional leaders and individual team leaders by contributing strategic vision and integrating a broad range of ideas regarding logistics and business solutions development.
  • Responsible for deliverables, cost, schedule and quality of one or more enterprise solutions projects.
  • Plans projects, allocates and directs staff and other resources to accomplish project tasks and maintain control over the project(s).
  • Works with internal and external customers, suppliers and other partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine and institutionalize solutions.
  • Drives the project(s) and the organization toward achieving business results.
  • Identifies and ensures continuous development, improvement and implementation of WM key business processes within the enterprise and within Centers of Excellence
  • Focuses on consistency and quality in the implementation of process improvements and is involved in the post-implementation verification.
  • Participates in the development of training/coaching programs and the implementation of coaching processes.

III. Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • four years of relevant work experience
  • 5 years relevant experience in dispatch, logistics or collections (in addition to education requirement).

B. Preferred Qualifications 

  • Project management and organizational skills for documentation and milestone management
  • WM Field Centric
  • Equipment performance team fit
  • process management, PM program, specifications, planning and scheduling and standard repair times
  • Technical refuse truck expertise, chassis, and body experience.
  • Experience with today's technology, technician tablets, power BI, telematics diagnostics

☒ Combination: This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.
V. Benefits 

The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S is $119,460 - $182,033. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
