Caterpillar Inc. seeks Business Process Specialist at its facility located at 1720 W Kingsbury, Seguin, TX 78155.
Coordinate the Energy & Transportation (E&T) division engine forecast and historical data in the Engine Integrated Business Planning (eIBP) forecasting platform. Develop and improve the data analytics and visualization capabilities for E&T demand planning. Provide training and support on inputs and outputs of eIBP to industry and supply chain groups. Provide ad hoc analysis and reports upon request from industry, forecasting, and manufacturing personnel. Lead or participate on projects to transform E&T forecasting tools and processes. Provide analysis, project management, and reporting to assist industry marketing groups with their monthly Sales & Operations Planning functions. Support annual Business Plan, quarterly RBM Plans, and the annual Long Term Forecast Plan. Automate the data and analysis process by automating the data loads from various sources, improving the validation process by creating automated reports using SAS and SQL before loading the data to eIBP and developing post load data accuracy checks.
REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience as a Data Specialist, Systems Analyst, or related occupation in the field of product group, functional discipline, process execution or related field. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Creating data visualizations using various Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or OBIEE to support supply chain managers and/or other business users; (2) Using R programming or SQL programming to extract data from multiple factory data systems into a centralized data warehouse; (3) Supporting and monitoring data warehouses for effective integration with downstream applications; (4) Implementing supply chain or demand planning software and reporting tools including testing, validation, and installation; (5) Using SAS or SQL for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources into DB2 or Oracle databases for building reports and dashboards; and (6) Providing analysis, project management, and reporting to assist marketing groups and business users with their monthly Sales and Operations Planning functions and/or technical documentation.
Summary Pay Range:
$135,886.00 - $165,840.00
