The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $89,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions supporting LTD inventory management, including dashboards, trend analyses, and OKR reporting.
- Leverage advanced Excel, automation, AI‑driven tools, and emerging technologies to analyze complex data sets and streamline reporting.
- Analyze inventory health, aging, productivity, decisional timeliness, outcomes, and financial impacts.
- Produce and deliver regular, executive‑ready reporting updates highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct block‑of‑business analyses using deep LTD expertise to identify drivers of claim behavior and recommend strategic interventions.
Process Improvement & Operational Initiatives
- Lead the design and implementation of new or enhanced processes, procedures, and operational initiatives within LTD.
- Represent Claims Operations on internal workgroups and cross‑functional projects.
- Support process mapping, documentation, and rollout of new or revised workflows.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable guidance, training materials, and operational updates.
- Monitor initiative progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation.
Collaboration & Leadership Partnership
- Partner closely with LTD Claims Operations leadership to support operational decision‑making.
- Build strong relationships with the segmentation team, LTD leadership, and cross‑functional partners.
- Provide updates to leadership on reporting insights, operational performance, process enhancements, and regulatory considerations.
- Serve as a trusted analytical and operational advisor to leadership teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of LTD claims operations, contract handling, and end‑to‑end claim workflows.
- Advanced analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Demonstrated experience producing advanced operational reporting and identifying trends.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Collaborative mindset with strong relationship‑building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies in an operational or analytical environment.
- Proficiency with LTD claims management systems.
- Strong understanding of disability products and claims practices.
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
Experience & Education
- 3-5 years of LTD or disability claims experience (required).
- 4-5 years of experience leading projects or people (preferred).
- 4-5 years of operational or product experience (LTD preferred).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
