Lead design, implementation, tracking, and reporting of operations performance versus company goals. Develop metrics and reporting cadence, manage risk practices, drive process and lean improvements, prepare presentations for leadership and boards, represent Client Services, and execute strategic or ad-hoc projects.
The Business Operations Lead is responsible for managing the design, implementation, tracking, and reporting of operations performance against company goals. The successful candidate will lead process improvements, communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels, including SLT and ELT, and represent Client Services in key forums when required. This role also involves preparing presentations and reports for internal and external meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews, Board meetings, and taking on strategic and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design, implementation, tracking and reporting for operations and business plans against agreed company goals and objectives.
- Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, understanding the underlying drivers, creating a regular cadence for reporting, and identifying and leading initiatives to enhance management reporting capabilities.
- Manage the implementation and oversight of effective risk management practices in line with the company’s risk management framework ensuring timely identification and remediation of key operational risks
- Identify areas for process and lean improvements, and gain buy-in from management & stakeholders to implement these changes
- Communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels inc. employees, SLT and ELT and represent Client Services when required to in key forums.
- Prepare presentations, reports and other materials including management briefings and recommendations on key talking points, achievements, challenges and next steps as key input to existing internal and external meetings, Board meetings and other relevant forums.
- Take on and execute special and/or ad-hoc projects related to key strategic and operational priorities to help resolve issues and drive improvement as required
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 4+ years experience in consulting/business analyst/project management role
- Proven track record of effectively planning and assisting strategic and operational initiatives
- Advanced presentation and Microsoft Suite capabilities
- Ability to collect and interpret data gathered from various sources. PBI, SQL skills desired but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently, strategically, efficiently, and collaboratively across departments
- Strong relationship-management skills to build trust and rapport with internal stakeholders, bring influence across all levels of the business
