Position Overview
Phil is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support our Client Success team with analytics requests that directly impact client outcomes and drive business decisions. This role will focus on solving complex business problems, enabling data-driven decisions, and empowering teams through analytics and data visualization. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, you will serve as the go-to expert for data needs within Client Success, ensuring accurate data usage and actionable insights.
Responsibilities
Support the Client Success team on complex analytics requests impacting client outcomes and Phil’s business goals
Serve as the go-to data expert, ensuring the right data fields, structures, and limitations are understood and applied
Prioritize and manage incoming requests based on shifting business priorities while enabling teams to self-serve when possible
Contribute as part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy through execution
Collaborate with other data professionals skilled in BI, data modeling, and data warehousing to improve analytics capabilities
Champion best practices and serve as a subject matter expert in data modeling, analytics, and visualization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience as an analyst, engineer, or related field
Highly proficient in SQL with 2+ years of analytics experience
Proven ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable reports and visualizations
Experience analyzing data to solve business problems and create visualizations that drive strategic decisions
Strong ability to switch between big-picture thinking and managing detailed analytics
Self-starter who prioritizes impact over perfection, delivering usable insights quickly
Experience engaging directly with clients or customers on analytics (e.g., readouts, collaboration with client analytics teams)
Ability to communicate complex data and analytics concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pharma or healthcare industries
Experience using Looker
Familiarity with Python or R programming
