As the Business Leader for the Devices Business Line, you will oversee strategic initiatives, operational success, and product lifecycle management while fostering innovation and market competitiveness.
As the Business Leader for our Devices Business Line, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Broadband Devices Business Unit. With a €1B+ business, you will lead with innovative and cost-effective solutions, targeting service providers, enterprises, and adjacent markets. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will drive overall business priorities, from Go To Market strategies to vendor management and cost leadership.
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers at strategic and operational levels, delivering value and driving success.
- Execute Business Line objectives for orders, revenue, and margin as per the annual plan.
- Own and manage the entire business lifecycle, from incubation to post-sales support, enabling global sales and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, supply chain, legal, finance) to build a robust ecosystem for product delivery.
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Devices Business Line, in line with market demands.
- Drive the overall roadmap for PON & Wi-Fi products, ensuring cost-effectiveness and market competitiveness.
- Lead and motivate the R&D organization to deliver on cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging technology and innovation to stay ahead of the market.
- Perform and update competitive analysis, ensuring early mover advantage and market leadership.
- Train, coach, and mentor the Product Line Management team, ensuring a high-performing and collaborative culture.
- Proven track record as a Business Leader or General Manager in the global CPE & Devices industry.
- Extensive experience in incubating, defining, and executing products and solutions.
- Experience managing a Global Business with a turnover of 1B€+.
- Technological expertise with a strong commercial and business acumen.
- Ability to set a strategic vision and operationalize it effectively.
- Significant leadership experience, including leading diverse, multicultural teams.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and networking skills, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Experience managing headcount plans, budgets, and operational KPIs, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity and driving change.
