We work closely with strategy partners and clinicians to design and optimize clinical programs that deliver value to the company and also improve health outcomes. We are looking to add a Business Intelligence Engineer to our team who can help support the work that we do with clinical analytic technology! Below are more details.

When you apply for this role, below are the types of skills and experience that we look forward to hearing about from you:

  • Data: comfort, excitement, and experience working with data, joining tables, filtering data, creating new columns from case/when (or if/then) logic, and converting operational data into analytic/modeling datasets
  • Coding: SQL and Python/Pyspark will be your primary coding languages (knowing SAS is a plus)
  • Automation: tell us how you’ve automated processes to run daily/weekly/monthly; connecting data products/outputs to marketing and/or case management systems
  • Informatics: this role is not just about being a generalist, but informatics is about wrapping clinical and business contexts around the data products and BI; creation of valuesets or report categories to make the data easy to use and interpret
  • BI Tools: this role will create dashboards using PowerBI; tell us any dashboards you’ve designed and implemented, backend data products, frontend choices for particular charts
  • Insights: everyone on the team is also an analyst and works to generate actionable insights for the business partners we work with; tell us about your work on analysis projects, academic research; outcomes studies, marketing tests, etc.
  • Education: Interest and experience with quantitative disciplines such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Economics, Statistics, Clinical Informatics, Engineering, and/or related fields
  • Interests: healthcare and desire to make a positive impact on health outcomes; working with data; coding; new technology; innovation
  • Mindset: curious; eager to deliver quality work; collaborative; detail-oriented when creating data products and BI…but keeps a great attitude through the (sometimes) messiness of implementing innovative clinical programs
