Business Insights Senior Analyst – FBO Product
As the Business Insights Senior Analyst, you will support data-driven decision-making across the For Benefit Of (FBO) product suite, providing strategic insights that directly influence product direction, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. You will partner closely with product, operations, sales, and technology teams to inform decisions across the full analytical lifecycle, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business viability.
In this role, you will work primarily independently while collaborating cross-functionally to access and interpret data, modernize reconciliation processes, and identify opportunities for optimization. You will be a key contributor in defining analytical strategy, building roadmaps, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support both strategic and tactical decision-making.
Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced analyses and reporting to identify trends, insights, and opportunities across the FBO product, formulating recommendations that influence product and business decisions. Create, synthesize, and present customized data requests, transforming complex datasets into compelling stories for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Partner with product leadership on the evolution of the FBO product suite by defining analytical strategies, supporting roadmap development, and ensuring data-driven prioritization of initiatives. Continuously optimize and modernize reconciliation and analytical processes to drive efficiency for both internal and external customers.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify and understand analytical and product needs. Translate business needs into clear requirements and deliverables, working closely with engineering and technical partners to ensure solutions align with data architecture, pipelines, and APIs.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of analytical outputs through testing, validation, and review of underlying data and methodologies. Proactively identify and resolve data quality, bias, or interpretation issues and clearly communicate limitations when necessary.
Identify business opportunities and areas for optimization through deep analysis of large, complex datasets, applying a strong product mindset and “big picture” thinking to recommend scalable, impactful solutions.
Manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment, planning and adapting to changing conditions while consistently meeting deadlines.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a quantitative field
- 5+ years of professional experience in an analytical, consulting, product analytics, or technology-focused role
Product & Analytical Skills
- Strong product mindset with experience supporting product development, agile methodologies, user experience considerations, and data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in analyzing, reporting on, and acting upon product and operational metrics
- Experience working with large, complex datasets to generate business insights and recommendations
Technical Acumen
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams on technical architecture, data pipelines, and APIs
Communication & Influence
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and align cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations
Additional Capabilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders
- Background in market research, consumer behavior analysis, consulting, or analytical product support preferred
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (starting at 7:00 AM)
