Your mission: ensure decision-makers get fast, accurate, and actionable insights - without friction.

This role is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, business-minded, and excited to both build and lead.

What You’ll DoAnalytics & Insights Leadership

  • Ensure insights are timely, accurate, and directly tied to business decisions.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Data & Analytics to align priorities, roadmaps, and resourcing.
Technical Execution & Data Quality
  • Remain hands-on with SQL (BigQuery) and BI tools to support complex analyses and unblock the team.
  • Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of reporting pipelines and semantic layers.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to improve data reliability, freshness, and metric consistency.
  • Work with data science and ML teams to operationalize models and experimental outputs into reporting and decision workflows.
  • Define and enforce standards for metric definitions, documentation, and data validation.
Team Management & Development
  • Manage and mentor two analysts/reporting specialists and one data engineer
  • Create a scalable operational framework & recruit more team members as the business scales
  • Set clear expectations around quality, speed, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support career development, skill growth, and best practices across the team.
  • Balance hands-on contribution with coaching and review to maintain high execution standards.
Business Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as a primary analytics partner to business leaders across marketing, product, CX, and operations.
  • Proactively surface insights, risks, and opportunities - without waiting for requests.
  • Align stakeholders on KPI definitions, success metrics, and reporting expectations.
  • Ensure insights lead to action by clearly communicating tradeoffs and recommendations.
Reporting & Data Stack Improvements
  • Own initiatives to improve reporting speed, scalability, and usability.
  • Identify gaps and bottlenecks in the current analytics and reporting stack.
  • Scope, prioritize, and drive improvements focused on:
  • Faster time-to-insight
  • Higher data accuracy and trust
  • Reduced manual reporting and rework
