Business Development Specialist – Managed Accounts

Location: Denver, CO | Hybrid

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Specialist to help us grow our Managed Account business and fuel the success of our Client Portfolio Management team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our sales process—building and managing a healthy pipeline, engaging with prospects, and supporting sales activation efforts that turn opportunities into lasting client relationships.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing leads
  • Engage directly with prospects and internal/external lead sources to create opportunities
  • Keep our CRM (Salesforce) up to date and ensure every lead is tracked, measured, and followed through
  • Partner closely with Client Portfolio Management and internal teams to drive smooth sales handoffs
  • Support sales activation efforts that move qualified leads forward
  • Provide clear and timely pipeline reporting and insights to senior management

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Sales process know-how: Experience working within structured sales workflows and supporting the full cycle from lead to close
  • Organized multitasker: Ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying on top of details
  • Team player: Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills across teams and with external partners
  • Financial services exposure: Familiarity with the RIA channel or wealth management is a plus
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) preferred
  • Experience: 3–5 years in a sales, business development, or client-facing role
