We’re looking for ambitious Business Development Representatives who want to build elite sales careers.
At Enertiv, BDRs are not just appointment setters. They are pipeline builders and strategic partners to Account Executives, responsible for creating momentum within target accounts and helping move deals forward.
This role is designed for people who want to become Account Executives within 12–24 months. The fastest way to get there is by mastering the fundamentals: identifying opportunities, creating conversations, and building multi-threaded relationships inside complex accounts.
Location: Remote, United States
Compensation: $120k Base, $240k OTE
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating qualified pipeline through outbound email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach
- Researching target accounts and identifying key decision makers
- Booking qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Supporting mid-funnel deal progression by mapping contacts within active accounts
- Drafting multi-threaded outreach to expand engagement across buying committees
- Partnering closely with AEs to maintain momentum on active deals
- Holding AEs accountable to follow-ups and next steps when needed
Success in this role is defined by clear performance outcomes:
- 12 meetings booked per month
- 7 Sales Accepted Opportunities per month
- 2 Sales Qualified Opportunities per month
We’re less focused on years of experience and more focused on drive, discipline, and curiosity.
Strong candidates typically have:
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for personalized outreach
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfort with outbound prospecting and rejection
- Ability to research companies and stakeholders effectively
- Interest in enterprise sales and complex B2B deal cycles
- A strong desire to grow into an Account Executive role within 1–2 years
Bonus points for:
- Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools (we use Zoho)
- Experience with outbound prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, FullEnrich, etc.)
- Exposure to real estate, proptech, or sustainability
