The Problems You’ll Solve

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll work to find new business opportunities. You will ensure the quality of leads while finding lucrative ventures for the business to undertake as it scales and expands.
What you’ll do
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Required experience and mindset
0-1+ years of Channel Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within the Shopify, or similar ecosystem
Sales and/or success experience in the E-commerce space
Ability to prospect and find key decision-makers
Strong demonstrable project management skills
Understanding of and ability to execute a SaaS sales model including post-sale support
A demonstrated skill with co-marketing or lead generation via content
Ability to work remotely effectively
Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment
Set and exceed ambitious targets including quotas with a growth mindset
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 USD OTE annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter and hiring manager can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
