The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential customers to generate interest in our products or services. Working closely with the sales and marketing teams, you’ll help build a strong pipeline of leads by following outreach strategies and using tools like CRM and sales engagement platforms. You’ll qualify prospects, schedule meetings for sales, and contribute to the overall growth of Runa.

What Excites You

  • Owning the outbound prospecting process, identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key decision-makers across multiple channels.

  • Collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, and GTM teams to fuel pipeline growth and align on shared goals.

  • Ensuring smooth handoffs by providing Sales with clear context and insights on qualified leads.

  • Using data to track performance, optimize outreach, and contribute ideas for improving outbound strategies and processes.

  • Bringing creativity and a personalized touch to your outreach, with the freedom to test new approaches that connect and convert.

What Excites Us

  • 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, ideally within tech or fintech, with a proven ability to cold call and drive pipeline.

  • Hands-on experience using tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, Salesloft or similar prospecting platforms.

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with autonomy, you're comfortable owning your approach and making things happen.

  • Strong outbound writing skills and understanding of data-driven, multichannel outreach techniques.

  • A solutions-focused mindset and positive attitude that help you approach work problems with confidence, creativity, and energy.
