The Business Development Representative will manage the full sales cycle, focusing on selling software development team solutions, pursuing new business, and maintaining client relationships.
At PowDevs, we build top-tier nearshore development teams for U.S.-based companies — fast, lean, and with a laser focus on quality. Our team of engineers delivers software solutions across industries including fintech, logistics, e-commerce, and digital transformation. We’re proud to work with long-term clients and deliver elite development talent from Latin America.
We're now looking for our next Business Development Representative — someone who knows how to thrive in a high-pressure environment and can close deals, not just generate leads.
What you will do
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities via LinkedIn, email, cold calling, and social selling.
- Book qualified meetings for our senior sales team (AE / Head of Revenue).
- Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation, and CRMs to manage your pipeline.
- Research and segment U.S.-based tech companies that could benefit from LATAM engineering teams.
- Track and manage activity metrics (calls, emails, connections, meetings booked).
- Collaborate with sales leadership to continuously refine our outbound messaging and strategy.
What we are looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or lead generation, ideally in tech or software staffing.
- Previous SDR/BDR experience in a staffing, outsourcing, or consulting firm.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Confident cold caller and strong written communicator — you know how to break through the noise.
- Comfortable working with quotas, KPIs, and consistent activity targets.
- Highly organized and proactive. You don’t wait to be told what to do — you build your own pipeline.
It is a big plus if you
- Understanding of the nearshore model and LATAM tech talent market.
- Experience booking meetings with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or procurement teams.
- Familiar with tools like Zoho, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Nav, or similar CRMs and outreach tools.
Why PowDevs?
- A chance to sell high-quality dev teams backed by a reliable delivery model.
- Work with a tight-knit leadership team that’s actively involved and committed to growth.Flexible structure — we care about results, not micromanagement.
- A compensation model that rewards real performance — we’ll pay more for the right person.
- A clear mission: connect great developers in LATAM with great companies in the U.S.
Compensation
- Base + performance bonus for meetings booked.
- Commission opportunities tied to closed deals (in collaboration with AE/CRO).
- Growth-based incentives for long-term performers.
