Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for working closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive outbound prospecting initiatives and converting early stage leads into qualified opportunities.This results-driven individual serves as the first point of contact, engaging target accounts through outbound prospecting, qualifying early stage leads, and creating new opportunities for Flexential Account Executives (AEs).
This role requires strong outbound messaging, prospecting, lead development/qualification, and consultative selling skills, along with close collaboration with Account Executives to create new opportunities. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Drive opportunity creation for the Flexential sales team by proactively prospecting into high-value target accounts and strategically following up on marketing-qualified leads at any stage.
- Engage with prospects through personalized outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone, demonstrating strong attention to detail and an understanding of their unique business needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed targets for qualified meetings to support Flexential’s quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
- Accurately track all lead qualification and engagement activity within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and visibility across the sales organization.
- Gain a deep understanding of Flexential’s hybrid IT solutions, effectively communicate our value proposition, and confidently handle objections and competitive challenges.
- Conduct in-depth research on target accounts and personas to build interest, identify key stakeholders, and create demand for Flexential’s services.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to continuously refine outreach strategies and better position Flexential in the market.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 1+ years' of experience in a B2B in business development, sales, or related revenue-generating role, in the technology space – preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage prospects, ask insightful questions, and convey complex solutions in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT buyer behavior, decision-making dynamics, and key influencers.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive as a collaborative team player in cross-functional environments.
- Driven problem-solver with a competitive mindset and proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced, and adaptable work environment.
- Professional demeanor, with a high standard of integrity and business etiquette.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in lead development within the data center, cloud infrastructure, or related high-tech industries, particularly selling to mid-market and enterprise-level accounts.
- Hands-on experience with modern sales engagement and intelligence platforms such as Outreach, 6sense, and Gong.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) platform.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $70,000 - $87,000, with an OTE potential of $110k - $120,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications. This position is eligible for commission.
