About the role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line and create new business opportunities for Builder. You’ll be finding and qualifying high potential leads, and will pass them to the senior sales team to take forward. Your role determines the success and pace of growth of the entire company – developing the pipeline of future paying customers.

You'll be responsible for

  • Outbound lead generation activities to support the sales teams
  • Identifying target industries and organisations by working closely with the sales & marketing teams
  • Gaining a deep understanding of these target industries and organisations – what are their challenges and goals?
  • Prospecting into target organisations using a range of outbound sales tools, campaigns, events and referrals
  • Achieving your monthly goal of qualified opportunities for the sales team
  • Maintaining the CRM meticulously to ensure that all information is conveyed to the sales team
  • Gaining a deep understanding of Builder’s USPs and communicating these effectively
  • Creating excellent templates for emails and phone calls, and continuing to test & iterate to improve them
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in outbound lead generation in the technology space and are consistently in the top quartile of performers
  • A keen interest in a career in a high performing sales culture
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to build rapport with potential customers quickly
  • You’re extremely driven, and love hitting targets
  • Fantastic organisational and time management skills
  • You’re a team player
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM system) and other sales data and engagement tools 
  • Passionate and results-driven

 is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, stock options, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in Denver, the estimated on target earnings (including base salary and on target incentive pay) for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 per year.
