Job SummaryWe’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel Exiger’s commercial growth across the West Coast. Reporting to Sales leadership, this role sits at the front line of our go-to-market engine, opening doors, creating momentum, and setting high-quality meetings for the Client Executives you support. What You’ll DoProspect aggressively into named West Coast accounts using phone, email, and LinkedIn
Pick up the phone every day. cold calling is a core part of the role
Create qualified meetings and entry points for the Client Executives you support
Research target accounts and stakeholders to drive relevant, thoughtful outreach
Engage senior-level decision makers and earn the right to next conversations
Maintain accurate activity, notes, and outcomes in Salesforce
Use AI tools and workflows to increase productivity, sharpen messaging, and prioritize outreach, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, Consensus, Clari Groove and more.
Consistently hit and exceed activity and meeting targets
Collaborate closely with Client Executives to refine targeting, messaging, and prospecting strategy
0–2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, recruiting, athletics, or another competitive, performance-driven environment
A bias for action—you move fast, take initiative, and don’t wait to be told what to do
- Completion of a 35-40 minute skills assessment via TestGorilla to be sent to you by email following your application
Comfort with high-volume outbound activity and hearing “no” without slowing down
Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with professionals at all levels
Highly coachable, curious, and motivated by clear goals and metrics
Strong organizational habits and discipline in managing activity
AI literacy—you actively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) to research, prepare, write, and improve your work, and you’re eager to learn more
Ability to learn new tools quickly; Salesforce experience is a plus, not a requirement
Bachelor’s degree required
