We have an exciting new opportunity on our team for a Business Development Representative to help build out the foundation of our Outdoor Power Equipment market.
Responsibilities:
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to dealerships.
- Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc; creating and maintaining a database of prospect clients, building pipelines with team members that exceed targets.
- Presenting and delivering information to outdoor power equipment dealers.
- Answering dealer questions and follow-up call questions.
- Successfully closing on Dealer Agreements and scheduling on-boardings.
- Maintaining Salesforce dealer information.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent followed by 2+ years experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience during which you gained knowledge of sales process from initiation to close.
- Demonstrated ability to make cold calls and talking to new people all day through the use of your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented with an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor with the tenacity to handle rejection.
- Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with a keen ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
Preferred Skills:
- The G-suite of productivity tools (docs, spreadsheets, etc) and Salesforce experience preferred.
Compensation: The role described above offers a base salary of $45,000 to $50,000 + additional on target earnings. Your offer will be based on the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job, location, and internal equity. In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below.
