This is a Hybrid position. Ideal for someone living in the Milwaukee/ Denver Metro area.

What you will do: 

The right person listens to understand customer needs, probes to recognize opportunities, solves problems and recommends solutions. The candidate we are looking for must have passion for customer focus and service understanding to promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners/facilities and information technology (IT) leaders.  

You will reach out via phone and email to leads from several campaigns using company provided tools (laptop and headset) . The campaigns consist of Fire equipment, controls, planned service agreements and inbound lead requests. You will be qualifying these leads and securing meetings for your frontline sales counterpart. To be successful you will develop a follow up process, build relationships with your sales reps and grow maintain a pipeline. 

 

How you will do it: 

  • You will be responsible for booking qualified meetings for your frontline sales counterpart.  
  • Interacting with your customers daily, you will identify and offer appropriate solutions or hand-off any booked meetings to the appropriate rep. 
  • You will be responsible for following up with your frontline sales counterpart after the meeting takes place and throughout the sales cycle.  
  • From there you will build and maintain your pipeline.  
  • This is a Hybrid position. Ideal for someone living in the Milwaukee/ Denver Metro area

What we look for: 

Required 

  • 0-2 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling, or customer interaction experience  
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), internet software and e-mail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills  
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively 
  • A high level of integrity, and resilient temperament  
  • This is a Hybrid position. Ideal for someone living in the Milwaukee/ Denver Metro area

Preferred  

  • 2 - 4 years of Inside sales, telemarketing selling experience or business experience at a product company  
  • Track record of over-achieving goals. Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.  
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls (45-60 on average) per day 
  • Experience working with a CRM database 
  • Ability to rapidly build knowledge of Johnson Control’s product lines   

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22.00-28.00 + commission (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
