Job Overview:

Ready to lead a team that’s rewriting the playbook for physical security and proptech sales? As Genea’s BDR Manager, you’ll build and coach a high-velocity Business Development team that fuels both our Enterprise Security and Commercial Real Estate businesses. You’ll blend strategic coaching, data-driven experimentation, and hands-on leadership to turn cold prospects into warm pipeline, driving predictable growth across our North America regions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Engage a high volume of cold contacts, moving them from initial outreach to qualified prospects through follow-up and education
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads, qualifying interest and converting them into opportunities
  • Drive new meetings and pipeline opportunities for Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers by clearly articulating Genea’s value
  • Identify customer pain points and business challenges, positioning how Genea’s solutions address those needs
  • Consistently hand off sales-ready meetings and opportunities to Account Executives or Regional Sales Managers with strong discovery completed
  • Ensure leads are routed correctly and provide complete background details
  • Leverage Salesforce and HubSpot for accurately tracking metrics and reporting on lead activity
  • Meet and exceed activity and quota goals to help hit revenue targets within your swim lane
  • Build rapport quickly with both prospects and internal stakeholders, developing relationships that lead to business outcomes
  • Bring a self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to manage your own success
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute as a strong team player
  • Apply an understanding of sales cycles and qualification frameworks to your outreach

What You'll Bring::

  • 2+ years in B2B SaaS Sales or business development
  • Proven track record of leveraging outbound sales playbooks and refining outreach cadences
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot (or similar tools)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred: Physical Security or Access Control sales experience

Estimated Salary Range: $65-80K OTE

The salary range listed is our best estimate based on the role's requirements and market conditions. The final offer may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

In addition, full-time employees are eligible to participate in a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts (FSA); life insurance; accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance; long-term disability (LTD) coverage; paid time off (PTO); and a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
