BTC Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative for APAC to drive net-new pipeline and expand existing relationships. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Operations with regional enablement support from the Director of Bitcoin Asia, you'll serve as the critical link between our flagship Bitcoin Hong Kong conference and the growing demand across the APAC region. You'll build localized trust and reduce friction in APAC-based conversations through your fluency in Mandarin, deep cultural understanding, and market-specific credibility. Working across time zones and cultures, you'll identify and qualify high-potential prospects, manage inbound inquiries, and unlock larger ARR expansion within existing sponsorships. This role is a strategic expansion of our proven SDR model, uniquely tailored to build the regional foundation that enables Bitcoin Hong Kong to scale sustainably and capture the full opportunity in one of Bitcoin's fastest-growing markets. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to be extended or brought on full-time.
- Identify and research high-potential APAC companies and decision-makers for Bitcoin Hong Kong
- Conduct bilingual outreach (Mandarin and English) via email, phone, WeChat, and social platforms
- Build target lists and leverage ecosystem relationships to generate a qualified pipeline
- Manage inbound inquiries and run discovery calls to assess fit, needs, and budget
- Qualify and transition sales-qualified leads to the sales team
- Support sales conversations as a language and cultural bridge
- Maintain CRM records and partner with regional leadership on market insights
- Attend regional events and provide on-site account support during conferences
- Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken). Cantonese is a plus.
- Deep understanding of the Bitcoin ecosystem. You should have proven existing relationships within the Bitcoin space and an active Rolodex of contacts.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Established professional network and connections across APAC markets (Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea). Physical location in the region is less important than having deep, established relationships and cultural fluency.
- Willing to work Hong Kong local time, especially during the first few months.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding lead generation and meeting-set targets in a BDR or sales role.
- CRM fundamentals, you need to stay organized and manage the pipeline effectively.
- Self-motivated and resilient. Able to thrive in remote, autonomous environments with minimal oversight.
- Flexible and adaptable. Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills across cultures and languages, with the ability to navigate cultural differences professionally.
